School buses

Considering how Wales has suffered from tragedies involving bus journeys to school, and that Wrexham mounted a pilot study of the use of yellow buses, it is surprising that the report of the official commission on yellow buses has not received more publicity in the Welsh media.

The Assembly's Education Committee reported on this some years ago and there is currently a school travel measure going through to put its recommendations into effect. The report referred to by Ros largely affects England only I believe.

News on Radio Wales this morning that the Senedd bill is hitting trouble. Safety organisations feel that it does not meet expectations.

The story does not seem to be on the Web yet.
