Today is Joseph Heller's centenary. BBC Radio 4 Extra is celebrating by repeating Stuart Milligan's reading of his classic novel. More information here.
There does not seem to be much celebration on his native sod. Two of the most popular search engines have turned up nothing special. Perhaps in this time of widespread armed conflict reminders of his biting satire are just too painful.
