Hackney heroine to stand as LibDem

Here is an inspirational story for all those fair-weather supporters who have given up on the Liberal Democrat party. Pauline Pearce, whose berating of the looters in Hackney became a YouTube hit, has announced that she will stand as a Liberal Democrat for the Central ward in the London borough in May's local elections.
