Signals from the housing market

http://order-order.com/2014/10/06/cebr-predicting-london-led-house-price-drop-in-2015/ refers. Guido reckons that the drop which forecasters CEBR predict will be just a pause before a further inexorable rise in property prices in the metropolis. To my mind, anything which reduces the overheating of the London economy (and putting the hub airport people are calling for elsewhere in England is one such measure) is a good thing.

Locally, I see more estate agents' signs appearing. This could mean that sellers who have been holding off until they receive a fair return have seen a resurgence in the housing market - or it could be desperation.
