Swans get over the line at last

Now looking for something to fill the mug with for a celebration ...

Let's not forget Llanelli AFC, either. They made sure of the Welsh Premier title last night when their only challengers, New Saints, lost to Airbus. Congratulations to Peter Nicholas.

There is a catch. According to CEEFAX, an independent tribunal is to meet next Wednesday which could Leeds United in second place. Leeds were docked fifteen points at the start of the season for passing through a period of insolvency; restoring the points would give them 82 points.

Not only Swansea, but also Carlisle and Doncaster would be justifiably aggrieved by such a last-minute setting aside of the rules.
