The Judiciary is still reeling from last year's "Enemies of the People" headline. Low morale is rife and many Judges are fed up with the job. Vacancies for senior Judges and circuit Judges are now at an all-time high. What can be done to address this situation?
The programme includes interviews with three senior Judges.
Those in authority made clear that the shortfall would not be met by lowering standards. However, there will have to be more recourse to "part-time" judges which, while proving acceptable so far, must raise some concern.
